Who We Are
Yamhill County Gospel Rescue Mission (The Mission) is a non-profit 501(c)3 Christian organization founded in 2004 by a small group of individuals who saw a need for emergency shelter in Yamhill County. The heart and mission of Yamhill County Gospel Rescue Mission is to provide food, shelter, and hope through the love of Jesus Christ.
The Mission serves families as well as single men and women. The operation is managed with paid staff and volunteers from the community. As God leads, we partner with churches, individuals, and organizations to maximize our total effectiveness.

What We Do

As Yamhill County grows, its homeless population is growing as well. This increases the need for shelter and hope. As businesses and industries come and go in a sometimes fragile economy, people are often left stranded in their wake without jobs, food, or a roof over their heads.
The Mission facility is a 30-day stay. We now have our Overnight Shelter open from 8pm-8am for emergencies and days of bad weather. During the winter time we open 7 days a week so that guests can get out of the cold. Our men’s facility was completed in early 2019 and we will begin renovation on the existing facility for Women and Children with a larger commercial kitchen.
We're Expanding!
At The Mission, we have been expanding and increasing our capacity to serve more homeless men, women, and children. We are adding 52 beds to the current 17 with an overnight shelter and a new men’s facility that will offer employment and training. With this expansion, there is an even greater need for donors to support our ongoing operations as well as to help fund this campaign.
One of the ways you can help is to buy a personalized brick, which will be placed outside in our courtyard to honor your donation. These funds will go towards the final phase of our expansion, which is to remodel our current facility for women and children. We will also add a special room for the children, enlarge our commercial kitchen, and pay off the current mortgage.

Very good structured warm home with wonderful help and people. Easy access to resources, food, and very kind and concerning people who want to help see people succeed and get on their feet. I stayed here for 8 days directly from prison and had the help and support of all house members and got a job, and stable housing… THANK YOU
